We created the Apollodore Theater School within the Apollodore Association.
The Apollodore Theater School represents a form of education through theater, where children and teens are educated in the spirit of creativity, spontaneity, and respect for individual and group involvement.
We aim to permanently stimulate and educate the capacity for improvisation, emotional intelligence and the development of imagination of the participants, emphasizing the role and availability of each participant to explore their inner world, emphasizing the role of play and inventing life situations.
Improvisation and pantomime games, stage movement games and pronunciation techniques, puppet/marionette theater will be proposed.
The course ends with a show/artistic performance intended for the general public.

Partner: Parish "Saints Apostles" Zeebrugge
Improvisation Workshops - an educational project among Romanian children and parents was designed to promote improvisation as a reconsideration and redefinition of the link between child, parent and the cultural values of today's society, where it becomes a non-formal method, a creative stimulus and a means of self-discovery.

Project : Home
In the context of the "Home" project, we asked ourselves: "What would make a female immigrant feel at home in Belgium? What common values does she find both in her country of origin and in Belgium?"
The workshops took place between March and November 2024 in various locations in Flanders (Turnhout, Mechelen, Herentals) and were attended by women from the Romanian, Bulgarian, Moldovan, and Macedonian communities living in Flanders.
Thanks to theatrical improvisation techniques, they became more open, communicative, and empathetic with each other and those around them. Theater helped them manage their emotions better, and all of them admitted that they had never seen themselves in the position of playing a role in front of a camera.
